Egg art pins are actually made from real egg shells. I cut the shapes from thick egg shells such as emu, rhea and ostrich. Then I do the coloring with colored epoxy enamel. Some are accented with rhinestones. Finally the edges are finished with gold leaf paint and the whole thing is given a protective coating. All of this makes them very durable while also very unique.
